{"id":218,"date":"2018-11-27T21:09:42","date_gmt":"2018-11-27T20:09:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/beta.iaru-r2.org\/?page_id=218"},"modified":"2020-02-01T11:22:31","modified_gmt":"2020-02-01T10:22:31","slug":"iaru-and-the-rtos","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.iaru-r2.org\/en\/spectrum\/iaru-and-the-rtos\/","title":{"rendered":"<span class=\"caps\">IARU<\/span> and the&nbsp;RTOs"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>There are six regional telecommunications organizations that play important roles in World Radiocommunication Conferences:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.apt.int\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><span class=\"caps\">APT<\/span>&nbsp;(Asia-Pacific)<\/a><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"caps\">ASMG<\/span>&nbsp;(Arab states)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/atu-uat.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><span class=\"caps\">ATU<\/span>&nbsp;(Africa)<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cept.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><span class=\"caps\">CEPT<\/span>&nbsp;(Europe)<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.citel.oas.org\/en\/Pages\/default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><span class=\"caps\">CITEL<\/span>&nbsp;(Americas)<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/en.rcc.org.ru\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><span class=\"caps\">RCC<\/span>&nbsp;<\/a>(Russia and some countries of the former Soviet Union)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Decisions at WRCs are made by consensus.
