{"id":2500,"date":"2008-06-15T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2008-06-14T22:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/beta.iaru-r2.org\/national-council-of-the-federacion-de-radioaficionados-de-cuba\/"},"modified":"2008-06-15T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2008-06-14T22:00:00","slug":"national-council-of-the-federacion-de-radioaficionados-de-cuba","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.iaru-r2.org\/en\/national-council-of-the-federacion-de-radioaficionados-de-cuba\/","title":{"rendered":"National Council of the Federaci\u00f3n de Radioaficionados de&nbsp;Cuba"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.iaru-r2.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/frc.jpg\" alt=\"FRC\"><\/p>\n<p>From 22 to May 24 the National Council of the Federacion de Radioaficionados de Cuba was held with participation of the National Executive, the Presidents of all provincial subsidiaries and other guests.<\/p>\n<p>The National Council met at the premises of the Base Campismo \u201cLos Cocos\u201d located on the northern coast of Havana province, some 70 kms east of the capital of the country and also involved senior government leaders, party and telecommunications officials.<\/p>\n<p>Among the main issues addressed were those relating to growth, improvement of the Academy of Radio Amateurs and organization of the Seventh Congress of the <span class=\"caps\">FRC<\/span> scheduled for the second half of&nbsp;2009.<\/p>\n<p>In 2007 a&nbsp;total of 622 persons studied and approved courses for radio amateurs that the <span class=\"caps\">FRC<\/span> provides, including 466 new licensees that represent new members and 156 class changes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>From 22 to May 24 the National Council of the Federacion de Radioaficionados de Cuba was held with participation of the National Executive, the Presidents of all provincial subsidiaries and other guests.
