It serves as a&nbsp;port of entry to send signals through the internet that are received in <span class=\"caps\">VHF<\/span>\u2009\u2014\u2009<span class=\"caps\">PACKET<\/span>, messages to other <span class=\"caps\">BBS<\/span> in other countries, and to the Winlink network.<\/p>\n<p>Last weekend, Hugo Soto <span class=\"caps\">TI2HAS<\/span>, president of <span class=\"caps\">RCCR<\/span>, received a&nbsp;visit from Cesar Santos <span class=\"caps\">HR2P<\/span>, <span class=\"caps\">EMCOR<\/span> of <span class=\"caps\">IARU<\/span> <span class=\"caps\">R2<\/span>, to whom he showed the radio that was equipped with the Echo Link System <span class=\"caps\">TI0RCR<\/span>\u2011R. It is linked to one of the local <span class=\"caps\">VHF<\/span> repeaters.<\/p>\n<p>They also discussed the cooperation of Emergency <span class=\"caps\">SM<\/span> Communications with the Red Cross and other support organizations; the implementation of a&nbsp;reminder in the bases of Ham Radio Competitions to avoid transmitting within 5&nbsp;Khz above and below the frequencies reserved for the centers of emergency activity <span class=\"caps\">GAREC<\/span>, to leave them free of interference from the competition.
