The Federaci\u00f3n Mexicana de Radio Experimentadores<\/a>, FMRE<\/span>, celebrated its annual convention in the city of Tijuana in mid October 2008. Dr Carlos Levy XE1YK<\/span> sucessfuly finished his four year term and Victor Pinilla XE1VP<\/span> was elected as the new FMRE<\/span> President.<\/p>\n

It was a lively convention that included many lectures and social activities. Worthy of mention was the large team of senior officials from COFETEL<\/span>, regulatory agency, who were present making clear the excellent relationship of the agency with FMRE<\/span>.<\/p>\n

IARU<\/span> Region 2 attendees were President Reinaldo Leandro YV5AMH<\/span>, Secretary Ramon Santoyo V. XE1KK<\/span> and EMCOR<\/span> Dr. Cesar Pio Santos HR2P<\/span> who gave an interesting lecture on emergency communications.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
