{"id":2538,"date":"2009-06-20T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2009-06-19T22:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/beta.iaru-r2.org\/iaru-contest-2009\/"},"modified":"2009-06-20T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2009-06-19T22:00:00","slug":"iaru-contest-2009","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.iaru-r2.org\/en\/iaru-contest-2009\/","title":{"rendered":"<span class=\"caps\">IARU<\/span> Contest 2009"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"International Amateur Radio Union\" src=\"http:\/\/iaru.org\/iaru-banner2.gif\" alt width=\"482\" height=\"120\"><\/p>\n<p>The second weekend in July, this year the 11<sup>th<\/sup> and 12<sup>th<\/sup>, the 2009 version of the <span class=\"caps\">IARU<\/span> <span class=\"caps\">HF<\/span> World Championship will take&nbsp;place.<\/p>\n<p>The objective of this unique <span class=\"caps\">SSB<\/span> and <span class=\"caps\">CW<\/span> contest is to contact as many other amateurs, especially <strong><span class=\"caps\">IARU<\/span> member society <span class=\"caps\">HQ<\/span> stations<\/strong>, around the world using the 160, 80, 40, 20, 15 and 10 meter bands.&nbsp;It is open to all radio amateurs around the&nbsp;world.<\/p>\n<p>We invite <span class=\"caps\">IARU<\/span> member societies to actively participate in this 24-hour contest with their <span class=\"caps\">HQ<\/span> stations.<\/p>\n<p>The rules for this year can found <a href=\"http:\/\/www.arrl.org\/contests\/rules\/2009\/iaru.html\">here<\/a>.
