{"id":2616,"date":"2012-03-29T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2012-03-28T22:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/beta.iaru-r2.org\/world-amateur-radio-day-2\/"},"modified":"2012-03-29T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2012-03-28T22:00:00","slug":"world-amateur-radio-day-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.iaru-r2.org\/en\/world-amateur-radio-day-2\/","title":{"rendered":"World Amateur Radio&nbsp;Day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.iaru-r2.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/aniversario-87.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-1292\" title=\"aniversario-87\" src=\"http:\/\/www.iaru-r2.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/aniversario-87-150x112.jpg\" alt width=\"150\" height=\"112\"><\/a>On April 18, 2012 we will celebrate the World Amateur Radio Day on the 87<sup>th<\/sup> Anniversary of the founding of the International Amateur Radio Union, <span class=\"caps\">IARU<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u00b4s theme for the World Amateur Radio Day is \u0093Amateur Radio Satellites: Celebrating 50 Years in Space\u0094 in remembrance the launching of <span class=\"caps\">OSCAR<\/span> 1&nbsp;on December 12, 1961 and the launch of <span class=\"caps\">OSCAR<\/span> 2&nbsp;on June 2,&nbsp;1962.<\/p>\n<p>For this reason there will be several special event stations from <span class=\"caps\">IARU<\/span>\u0092s Member Societies active on different dates during April:<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"caps\">6H6IARU<\/span> by the Federaci\u00f3n Mexicana de Radio Experimentadores who has commissioned this operation to Grupo <span class=\"caps\">DXXE<\/span>. This station will be active from 13 to 18 April in all modes and bands. <span class=\"caps\">QSL<\/span> via LoTW and <span class=\"caps\">N7RO<\/span>, direct or bureau.&nbsp;Daily logs uploads will be available in ClubLog.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"caps\">3G87IARU<\/span> by the Radio Club de Chile.&nbsp;This station will be active throughout the month of April. <span class=\"caps\">QSL<\/span> via&nbsp;<span class=\"caps\">CE3AA<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"caps\">LZ1WARD<\/span> by the Bulgarian Federation of Radio Amateurs also will be active throughout the month of April. <span class=\"caps\">QSL<\/span> via bureau.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>We wish you many contacts participating stations.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On April 18, 2012 we will celebrate the World Amateur Radio Day on the 87<sup class=\"ordinal\">th<\/sup> Anniversary of the founding of the International Amateur Radio Union, <span class=\"caps\">IARU<\/span>.
