All licensed amateurs worldwide are invited to participate.<\/p>\n<p>Date and Contest Period: The second full weekend of July, beginning 1200 <span class=\"caps\">UTC<\/span> Saturday and ending 1200 <span class=\"caps\">UTC<\/span> Sunday (July 11\u2009\u2013\u200912, 2015). Both Single and Multi operator stations may operate the entire 24-hour period.<\/p>\n<p>The objective is to contact as many other amateurs, especially <span class=\"caps\">IARU<\/span> member society <span class=\"caps\">HQ<\/span> stations, around the world as possible using the 160, 80, 40, 20, 15 and 10 meter bands. There will be no contest activity on 12, 17, 30 or 60 meters.<\/p>\n<p>Entries for the contest must be postmarked or emailed no later than 30 days after the end of the contest (1200 <span class=\"caps\">UTC<\/span> Tuesday, August 11,&nbsp;2015).<\/p>\n<p>The complete rules can be found at http:\/\/\u200bwww\u200b.arrl\u200b.org\/\u200bi\u200ba\u200br\u200bu\u200b-\u200bh\u200bf\u200b-\u200bc\u200bh\u200ba\u200bm\u200bp\u200bi\u200bo\u200bn\u200bs\u200bhip.<\/p>\n<p>Information as to what <span class=\"caps\">IARU<\/span> Headquarters (<span class=\"caps\">HQ<\/span>) stations and <span class=\"caps\">IARU<\/span> Officials (<span class=\"caps\">AC<\/span>, <span class=\"caps\">R1<\/span>, <span class=\"caps\">R2<\/span> and <span class=\"caps\">R3<\/span>) will be active during the contest can be sent to Bernie McClenny, <span class=\"caps\">W3UR<\/span>, at bernie@\u200bdailydx.\u200bcom.
