No <span class=\"caps\">IARP<\/span> or <span class=\"caps\">CEPT<\/span> license is necessary as well. No fees are required.<\/p>\n<p>The Brazilian Amateur Radio League\u2009\u2014\u2009<span class=\"caps\">LABRE<\/span> has filed a&nbsp;request and obtained this special permission from <span class=\"caps\">ANATEL<\/span>, the Brazilian Telecommunication authority.<\/p>\n<p>The amateurs who want to operate in Brazil must send to <span class=\"caps\">LABRE<\/span> the following documents<\/p>\n<p>- Copy of a&nbsp;valid passport (identification pages)<br>\u2009\u2014\u2009Copy of amateur radio license of his\/her country<br>\u2009\u2014\u2009List of cities in which he\/she intends to operate and the respective periods<br>\u2009\u2014\u2009Email address for contact<\/p>\n<p>The documents must be scanned and sent to <a href=\"mailto:executiva@labre.org.br\">executiva@\u200blabre.\u200borg.\u200bbr<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Radio amateur operators who will visit Brazil for the 2016 Rio Olympic Games will be able to be on air without bureaucracy.
