The loss of normal communications makes communities and individuals vulnerable if they are not able to&nbsp;relay<br> critical information.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"caps\">BARC<\/span> members are dedicated two-way radio operators (also called Ham&nbsp;Radio Operators) who have trained and are prepared to provide<br> emergency radio communications for our communities should they be&nbsp;called upon.<\/p>\n<p>As Tropical Storm Earl approaches <span class=\"caps\">BARC<\/span> announces that its members will be using the using the frequencies of 7.177 MHz and 147.000 to relay&nbsp;emergency messages within Belize.
