The objective is to bring these people closer to our activity.<\/p>\n<p>The course includes, among many other topics, the legal Amateur Radio framework at the International Telecommunication Union (<span class=\"caps\">ITU<\/span>), Amateur Radio spectrum, reciprocal licensing, electromagnetic compatibility, emergency communications, <span class=\"caps\">IARU<\/span> and its member societies, etc.<\/p>\n<p>It also includes topics that explain how Amateurs operate: digital communications, telegraphy, phone, contests, etc. This event ends with a&nbsp;visit to an Amateur Radio station where participants can better understand the material presented and where they have the opportunity to make some on-the-air contacts.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"caps\">IARU<\/span> member societies interested in inviting their regulators should contact <span class=\"caps\">IARU<\/span> Region 2&nbsp;Vice President Ramon Santoyo (<a href=\"mailto:xe1kk@iaru.org\">xe1kk@\u200biaru.\u200borg<\/a>) as soon as possible as space is limited.
