{"id":4455,"date":"2020-03-18T22:16:05","date_gmt":"2020-03-18T21:16:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.iaru-r2.org\/?p=4455"},"modified":"2020-03-18T22:16:05","modified_gmt":"2020-03-18T21:16:05","slug":"emergency-communications-workshop-30-31-may-2020","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.iaru-r2.org\/en\/emergency-communications-workshop-30-31-may-2020\/","title":{"rendered":"Emergency Communications Workshop 30\u2009\u2014\u200931 May&nbsp;2020"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"caps\">ARU<\/span> <span class=\"caps\">R2<\/span> Emergency Communications Workshop 30 May&nbsp;2020<\/p>\n<p>This 3\u2011hour online workshop is an opportunity for all English speaking interested Radio Amateurs in the Caribbean portion of <span class=\"caps\">IARU<\/span> Region 2&nbsp;to meet&nbsp;to:<\/p>\n<p>- Share information on Amateur Radio response to emergencies and disasters in <span class=\"caps\">IARU<\/span> Region 2&nbsp;with a&nbsp;focus on the Caribbean.<br>\u2009\u2014\u2009Increase the capacity for Amateurs to respond to large scale, multinational communication emergencies and disasters<br>\u2009\u2014\u2009Provide basic Winlink training and share experience<br>\u2009\u2014\u2009Provide an opportunity for national level Amateur Radio emergency communications leaders to network and increase the level of cooperation and collaboration.<br>\u2009\u2014\u2009Attendees will be Amateurs with a&nbsp;high level of expertise or interest in providing disaster and emergency communications<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"caps\">IARU<\/span> <span class=\"caps\">R2<\/span> Satellite Communication Workshop 31 May&nbsp;2020<\/p>\n<p>This 3\u2011hour online workshop is an opportunity for all English speaking Radio Amateurs in <span class=\"caps\">IARU<\/span> Region2 and specifically the Caribbean to meet and share their experience with amateur satellite<br> communications.
