class=\"caps\">EC<\/span>) meets quarterly to discuss items of importance to the Americas and transact the business of the Region.&nbsp;Notes summarizing the discussions and decisions made at each ]<\/p>\n<p>In 2021, the <span class=\"caps\">EC<\/span> has met twice virtually and has two more meetings scheduled for later in the year.&nbsp;In non-pandemic times, the fourth meeting of the year would be a&nbsp;2\u00bd day weekend meeting held in-person at a&nbsp;location that is relatively central to minimize travel expenses.&nbsp;As part of this in-person <span class=\"caps\">EC<\/span> meeting is an informal get-together with the host member society to exchange ideas and better understand their particular issues and concerns.&nbsp;Unfortunately as the pandemic continues to be a&nbsp;major factor in travel and health throughout the Americas, all meetings with be virtually in&nbsp;2021.<\/p>\n<p>Please take the time to read through the meeting notes and should you have any
