{"id":5778,"date":"2023-02-18T17:41:26","date_gmt":"2023-02-18T16:41:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.iaru-r2.org\/?p=5778"},"modified":"2023-02-19T20:57:51","modified_gmt":"2023-02-19T19:57:51","slug":"brazilian-government-publishes-new-national-table-of-frequency-allocations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.iaru-r2.org\/en\/brazilian-government-publishes-new-national-table-of-frequency-allocations\/","title":{"rendered":"Brazilian government publishes new national table of frequency allocations"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Anatel (The Brazilian Telecommunications Agency) recently published the Resolution \u201c759\/2023\u201d with their new <span class=\"caps\">PDFF<\/span> (Plan for Allocation, Distribution and Destination of Radio Frequencies) carrying positive outputs to Amateur Radio Service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The final portion of the 4&nbsp;mm band (81\u221281.5 MHz) was recognized to Amateur Radio according <span class=\"caps\">ITU<\/span> Radio Regulations (<span class=\"caps\">RR<\/span>) Footnote 5.<span class=\"caps\">561A<\/span>, while the 70 cm band (430\u2212440 MHz) was elevated to primary service according the <span class=\"caps\">RR<\/span> Footnote 5.278.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The improvement was possible due changes promoted in the <span class=\"caps\">RR<\/span> during the World Radio Conference of 2019, able to introduce in the footnote Brazil, Uruguay and Paraguay on the list of countries with the new status.
