The IARU<\/span> is excited to mark World Amateur Radio Day (WARD<\/span>) and the 98th<\/sup> anniversary of its founding with a special event to promote the United Nations Human Security for All (HS4A<\/span>) initiative. We hope you will activate special event stations during the period 11 to 25 April 2023 to help with the celebration. For more information about WARD<\/span> and HS4A<\/span> please visit https:\/\/\u200bwww\u200b.iaru\u200b.org\/\u200bo\u200bn\u200b-\u200bt\u200bh\u200be\u200b-\u200ba\u200bi\u200br\u200b\/\u200bw\u200bo\u200br\u200bl\u200bd\u200b-\u200ba\u200bm\u200ba\u200bt\u200be\u200bu\u200br\u200b-\u200br\u200ba\u200bd\u200bi\u200bo\u200b-\u200bd\u200bay\/<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The IARU<\/span> Region 2 ICT<\/span> Department and the IARU<\/span> Region 1 Youth Task Force, all volunteers, teamed up to create a special website, https:\/\/\u200bhs4a\u200b.iaru\u200b.org<\/a>, to manage the operational event. If you are planning to operate one or more special event stations for WARD<\/span>\/HS4A<\/span> please register at the website. Here is the procedure:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Click on Register and provide the requested basic contact information.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Click on Participate and agree to each of the six rules that you will be shown. Check \u201cI accept these rules\u201d Then click on Next.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Click on \u201cContinue as <your name>. You do not need to enter the contact information again.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Select \u201cRegister a new Station\u201d and provide the requested information. The station description (minimum 200 characters) can be almost anything: what Human Security for All means to you, who is the sponsor of your station, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    That\u2019s it! We will receive your registration request and will approve it as quickly as we can. Please direct any questions to iaru@\u200biaru.\u200borg<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
