He was a&nbsp;licensed amateur radio operator with the callsign <span class=\"caps\">K8YUW<\/span>. He is also the founder of the Hurricane Watch Network.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Jos\u00e9 Levy V\u00e1zquez <span class=\"caps\">XE1J<\/span> passed away on March 12, 2025.
