It was attended by 12 member societies, 7&nbsp;in person and 5&nbsp;by proxies, delegates from the International Secretariat and observer delegates from <span class=\"caps\">IARU-R1<\/span> and <span class=\"caps\">IARU-R3<\/span>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among the topics addressed were the restructuring of <span class=\"caps\">IARU<\/span>, reports from directors and member societies. finance, spectrum defense and management, workshops on emergency communications, satellites, <span class=\"caps\">CITEL<\/span>, <span class=\"caps\">ITU<\/span>, mutual recognition of licenses, <span class=\"caps\">IARP<\/span>, awards and others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, the election of the new Executive Committee was held, which was composed as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>President and Director of Area D&nbsp;: Jos\u00e9 Arturo Molina, <span class=\"caps\">YS1MS<\/span>\/<span class=\"caps\">KD2GXZ<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vice President and Director of Area G : Galdino Besomi, <span class=\"caps\">CE3PG<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Secretary and Director of Area B&nbsp;: Rod Stafford, <span class=\"caps\">W6ROD<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Treasurer&nbsp;: Gustavo de Faria Franco, <span class=\"caps\">PT2ADM<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Director of Area A&nbsp;: Serge Bertuzzo, <span class=\"caps\">VA3SB<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Director of Area C&nbsp;: Jes\u00fas Sarmiento, <span class=\"caps\">XE1EW<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Director of Area E&nbsp;: Jaime Duarte, <span class=\"caps\">HK6W<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Director of Area F&nbsp;: Aldo Perich, <span class=\"caps\">OA4DPM<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The host society, <span class=\"caps\">LABRE<\/span>, offered careful attention to the participants, with cultural events and tours, in addition to having installed the commemorative station <span class=\"caps\">PX100IARU<\/span> throughout the event in the hotel, with operation in all <span class=\"caps\">HF<\/span> modes and bands.
