Amateur Radio in Argentina gains access to 60 m and 630 m bands, and gets others extended

The Radio Club Argentino, IARU Member Society, informs to the international amateur community that has succeeded with its petition to their local communications authorities, having granted new privileges to the Amateur Radio Service ‑630 m and 60 m- and the extension of existing allocations ‑160 m, 80 m and 30 m-.

The new allocations are the final result of efforts made by the RCA during its participation in the preparatory meetings of WRC ’07, ’12 and ’15; and will be effective in 90 days.

New allocations

630 m 472 – 479 kHz

60 m 5351,5 – 5366,5 kHz

Extended allocations

160 m 1800 – 2000 kHz

80 m 3500 – 4000 kHz

30 m 10100 – 10150 kHz
