On January 29 the Federacion Mexicana de Radio Experimentadores ended the celebrations of their 80th anniversary with the draw number 3437 of the National Lottery in which lottery tickets had printed the official logo of this anniversary.
Subsequently the FMRE hosted a dinner at a near by hotel with more than 150 radio amateurs who came from all over the country to attend this event.

FMRE will host this year the IARU Region 2 General Assembly in Cancun.
