Hundred of Cubans present their national amateur radio exam

Joel Carrazana Valdés (CO6JC) from the Information Service of Federación de Radioaficionados de Cuba reports that 323 candidates presented the first semester national amateur radio exam and 310 obtained a license. This is an increase of examinees over last year.

The main numbers of participants were on the FRC’s branches in Havana, Villa Clara, Pinar del Río, Matanzas, Camagüey and Santiago de Cuba.

The Executive Committee of IARU Region 2 congratulates FRC for their constant and effective activities to promote amateur radio in their country.
