The International Amateur Radio Union is collecting demographic statistics from member societies. The recently-formed Band Planning Committee will coordinate this activity in Region 2.

A representative of the Band Planning Committee will soon contact all member societies in Region 2 to forward a questionnaire. It asks for information on the number of Amateurs and licensees in each member country, as well as details on the 60 meter allocations that have been authorized. Member societies are requested to complete the questionnaire and return it to the Band Planning Committee. The questionnaires must be submitted to the IARU in March, so a prompt response is required.
