The 28th meeting of CITELs Permanent Consultative Committee II was held in Bavaro, Punta Cana, Dominican Republic on November 29 December 2, 2016. The Ad Hoc Group for the revision of the IARP and other related matters, formed by José Arturo Molina, YS1MS, IARU-R2 Secretary, Flávio Archangelo, PY2ZX, and Jonathan Siverling, WB3ERA, from ARRL, submitted two proposals, one of modifications to the IARP and another one with recommendations for the administrations to streamline license acquisition and renewal processes, achieving the approval of both.
