IARU Region 2 Executive Committee members meet this weekend in Lima Peru with the board members of Radio Club Peruano (RCP).

Manuel Basurco OA4AHW RCP Vice-president welcomed the group and led the tour of the impressive premises of this IARU Member Societies.

Reinaldo Leandro YV5AMH R2 President congratulated RCP for their intense work on many fields including emergency communications and invited RCP to actively participate on the R2 Assembly that will take place in El Salvador in 2010.

After the ceremony RCP offered a Peruvian dinner to the guests on their facility’s restaurant.

Also present were IARU President Timothy Ellam VE6SH and IARU Region 1 President Hans Blondeel Timmerman PB2T.
