As a sign of gratitude for his hard work and dedication before and during the 2015 World Radio Conference, where an allocation was obtained in the 5‑MHz band, IARU-R2 presented a recognition plaque to Flavio Archangelo, PY2ZX, which was presented during the gala dinner of the 19^th General Assembly in Viña del Mar, Chile, on October 14, 2016.
