On Saturday, December 16, 103 new radio amateurs passed their examination, and entered Cubas third category license (CL prefix), while about a hundred expanded their privileges by moving to the country top categories (CM and CO). 98% of the promotion passed this official exam exceeding by 8 percent the exam of the first semester of the year.
The Federación de Radioaficionados de Cuba (FRC) continuously grows and directs their action to increase its presence in mountainous and inaccessible localities, as well as to elevate the number of women and youngsters among its members.
