Thank you to everyone who responded to our request for young hams to help make amateur radio more attractive and relevant in the 21 st century in the Americas. It is great to know how many care about our shared love of amateur radio and understand the importance of changing for the future.

We already have a large response, with volunteers from Argentina to Canada and 10 other countries in between. If you are interested in volunteering and haven’t yet applied, please hold off for now. Let’s get a pilot group going and then see what comes next.

We’ll post updates as things progress, understanding that this will take some time. We wouldn’t be doing this if the answers were simple or easy. For those who have already applied, more information will be coming your way in the next few days.
