CADECAMP 34th. Anniversary

With regional vision and a clear spirit of service, our colleague Fernando Montes de Oca, TI2FMO (SK), founded on June 2, 1988, on his own initiative, the “Central America, Mexico and Panama Net” (CADECAMP). Today, 34 years later, this independent organization continues its daily operations, now including the Caribbean, South America and the United States, with a main vision of “service and being a bridge of friendship” between countries.

As part of the anniversary celebrations, stations were installed and operated in school centers in some countries of the region so that children and young students could discover amateur radio, talk with children from other countries and learn about the spirit of service that characterizes radio amateurs.

Congratulations to the Central America, Mexico and Panama Net, encouraging them to continue with their work, and thanking them for their efforts to promote amateur radio.
