Radio Club Dominicano commemorated World Amateur Radio Day with a big celebration in its recently renovated headquarters.
There were more than 150 guests at the event, including directors and officers of Instituto Dominicano de Telecomunicaciones, INDOTEL, the countrys regulator.
As part of the event, IARU Region 2 Vice-President José Arturo Molina, YS1MS, participated through a live videoconference where he encouraged Radio Club Dominicano to continue with the same enthusiasm, the work that they carry out for the benefit of amateur radio.
The President of Radio Club Dominicano, Hugo Ramón Sánchez, HI8VRS, greeted all guests, who also enjoyed the local delicacies.
