In 2021, the EC has met twice virtually and has two more meetings scheduled for later in the year. In non-pandemic times, the fourth meeting of the year would be a 2½ day weekend meeting held in-person at a location that is relatively central to minimize travel expenses. As part of this in-person EC meeting is an informal get-together with the host member society to exchange ideas and better understand their particular issues and concerns. Unfortunately as the pandemic continues to be a major factor in travel and health throughout the Americas, all meetings with be virtually in 2021.
