This is to advise that the Caribbean Emergency and Weather Net (CEWN) was activated last night 8^th July 2013 utilizing the frequency 3.815 kHz, in view of the imminent arrival of tropical storm Chantal in the vicinity of Barbados and the Windward Islands.

This net will continue to function throughout the day, and until the event and its effects have dissipated.
