On Sunday, April 18, 2010 the World Amateur Radio Day will be celebrated. 85 years ago, on April 18, 1925, the International Amateur Radio Union was founded.

In 2010, the theme of the event is “Amateur Radio: Combining communication experience with modern digital techniques.”
