It’s only a week before the IARU R2 virtual General Assembly begins in evening sessions October 31 – November 4. Mark your calendars to participate in the governance of IARU, your voice at the table defending our spectrum and promoting all of the services that amateur radio provides to our society and our personal fulfillment. If you haven’t already done so, it’s time for:
Member Societies to select their Delegates and Head of Delegation. Those individuals should be registered at https://ga-iaru-r2.com/registration
Member Societies to submit your triennial activities report and if interested, a proposal to host the 2025 Region 2 General Assembly
Region 2 Committee Chairs to submit your triennial activities report and prepare your brief summary presentations
Candidates for Officers and Area Directors should review the qualifications for office (https://www.iaru-r2.org/en/reference/bylaws/) and submit their Member Society’s nomination, a brief resume of amateur activities, and prepare a 2- minute speech to introduce themselves to the Assembly.
